MINERALS AND COLORS | WHITE

1. White Barite.

White minerals reflect all wavelengths of the visible spectrum when light strikes them.

Black minerals do not reflect any of the wavelengths of the visible spectrum when light strikes them, but are all absorbed.

Minerals that we perceive as a different color from those that make up the visible spectrum, such as brown minerals, reflect some wavelengths of the visible spectrum and absorb others.

3. White dove of peace.

We identify WHITE with SNOW. A good snowfall offers us a break in our activity, a time for reflection, meditation, without haste or pressure.

White represents purity, simplicity, candor, innocence. It is the color of peace, represented by the dove of peace since ancient times. The white flag also symbolizes the ceasefire.

White flowers are delicate, of sublime beauty. In France, the muguet or lily of the valley is given as a gift to wish good luck to people we love.

Surrounding ourselves with white calms us and is therefore a good choice to use in our home, as its luminosity multiplies the space and fills us with optimism.
